Sometimes a picture says more then a thousand words

It has been a very busy time for me, started a new job and had difficulties foccusing on both that,family and photography, just weren’t happy with my pictures anymore…
And then there was May… and a week with a lot of photo opportunities 😀
This one was taken on Liberation Day, 5th of May in Wageningen(Netherlands)during the parade …It’s an image that I can’t seem to forget, never forget

I wasn’t sure to post the coloured version aswell but as that was my image to start with here it is…

This one of the 27 Konik horses (wild horses) I try to visit almost daily during my dogwalk.
I am lucky enough to have a nature reserve across the street called Utrechtse Heuvelrug, which can be entered by opening this gate.
From there on you wil find yourself walking amongst wild horses,galoway cows,the river rhine with all it’s wildlife as beavers,egrets,kingfishers cormorants osphreys etc
Most of my sunsets are taken there aswell since it is right along the river Rhine, and I can see the change of light directly from my livingroom 🙂
Hopefully in the near future I can post some pictures of nr 28 29 or 30 since I saw some big big belly’s amongst them during my last walk 😉

Contemplating…2013 27 comments

With 2014 only a few hours away, I have been thinking a lot about what 2013 gave me.

A lot of lows, but in the end, there have been highs aswell.
I have yet again seen myself grown , and hopefully came out stronger then before.
This all with a lot of help from my family, who never gave up,
and special friends, who never stopped believing where I was ready to give up ….

So with this in mind I hope you all leave a good year behind you, and are looking forward to an even better one to come,
And remember,eventhough the settings might not have been, as you expected them to be ,
There will always be new risings …Gelukkig en gezond 2014 from me to you..
