Thank you Cindy, am desperatly trying to clean up all my old images and found this again from last year.
Loved them especially because there were so many I hardly had to do any editing on what made me smile even more 🙂

good use of aperture although in the second shot the flower in the background is little distracting – prefer the first of the three shots – has spring arrived?

Like Lyle, that was exactly what I liked to keep in that shot so it didn’t become like the rest o the bunch.
But yes , first one is my fav aswell, but there were loads to have picked from when they bloomed , last summer , to answer your last question ….;-)

Nandi, so refreshing to see a touch of color after our drab and white winter…definitely ready for spring to burst out. I like the progression of images. It appears the liitle fly on the last image likes the flower as much as you enjoyed photographing it!

so much beauty spilling out on these pages, i wasn’t sure where to begin. all these incredible colors are just the antidote for the grey after grey we are experiencing in Chicago, and i am an instant friend to any blue flower. p discovered Cornflowers when i spread a pack of a wildflower blend on an area that needed some color, as an experiment, whata wonderful surprise that so many of the seeds were Cornflowers.
i wanted to visit to say thank for liking my poem today, this novice poet appreciates the encouragemnt.

That first one is so lovely … not only the blue of the flower but the almost striped appearance of all the green stems in the background. So, so nice!
