Wonderful to be reminded. This has been a particularly grey month with something lacking in the light. The angles of the trees in the photograph add a surreal effect which is fascinating.

I know what you mean..there’s been hardly any days that the light could do something extra for the with snow covered fields or forrest round my house..
Not very good with trees so used hdr and lomish to get it more focusing on the reflecting and colours instead ..

Peaceful and serene. What did you do to get the painting-like quallity from a photograph? Simply lovely!

Most times I don’t realy remember how I edited, I use picasa only.On images like this I use a slight HDR , but then soften it again ..The edit Lomish or Norton creates this effect..I like it a lot because it gives you a kind of mystical feeling to it aswell the fact that the colours brighten up just enough without overdoing it

That’s beautiful – like a painting and a remembrance of warm Autumnal colours. I love it!

Realy good image, well done. When I looked at it on my 24 inch screen it made me think of those glorious images they use for puzzles.

There is a comparison that can be made here then , both sitting down at this stream and getting the puzzle done can take up a few hours , but feels great after it’s done
