Nothing quite like a wee hill! Beautiful scene of contemplation.

To me it was a hudge hill to climb, and nothing wee about it !
Then again , in a flat country like the Netherlands we are not used to any hillwalking so maybee that explains it;-)
Turning round and overlooking it all was worth the “struggle” 😀

Height and distance are very difficult to estimate in hill country. Something that looks close can be several in-between hills and boglands away! But as you say once there, the view and sense of achievement and some great photographs makes it all worth while.

It was at the end o the day, so the light during the golden hour enhanced the color even more

Oh yes you can def tell its sundown. 🙂 I used to spend my summer nights close to a lill wood, so its one of my fav childhood memories. 🙂
